Diocesan Charity-Opava Ostravais non-profit organization. For the realization of our activities and our quality service is necessary for us the public support and public sectors, both in the form of physical, mental, spiritual, but also financial. Support non-profit sector as the commercial sector, as well as individuals is one of the characteristics of developed and socially responsible civil society. After all, the range of services to our facilities is extensive, and none of us know when any of them, we ourselves need.

 

You can support the activities of the Diocesan Charity Ostrava-Opava as a whole, or you can participate in the activities of individual centers or to support a particular activity. The use of your help, you can read at Annual reports DCHOO. Annual reports will refer to the economic parts.

 

What do you support charities Diocese of Ostrava-Opava get?


By supporting our work you can also participate in helping and serving those around us who need them.
Of course for us is the public presentation of your help (while respecting the wishes of the donor), whether on the website, selected print materials, in particular public events, etc.
Another advantage is the possibility of tax deductions for both financial and material donations. Act 586/1992 Coll. as amended by the Income Tax allows donors to deduct from the tax base the amount of donations to charity. Individuals may be according to § 15 paragraph 8 from the tax base value of gifts, if their total taxable amount for the period exceeds 2% of the tax base or is at least CZK 1,000. However, you can deduct a maximum of 10% of the tax base. Legal entities can deduct the gift pursuant to § 20 subsection 8, if the amount is at least CZK 2000, but no more than 5% of the tax base. In order to reduce the tax base, we can issue a contract or gift certificate donation. In both cases, we need to know your details (name, address, identification number, or date of birth).   • Material assistance
    Material support to our activities, please arrange with the heads of centers or contact the Secretariat (see Contacts).
  • Financial Aid
    Financial contributions and donations to support our activities can personally submit to the secretariat at the headquarters of the Diocesan Caritas Ostrava-Opava (Kratochvílova 3, Ostrava), or the head of the centers (see contacts).   • Furthermore, it is possible to engage in public collections, which are the responsibility of the individual centers. Every year around the holidays, the Three Kings Three Kings held a nationwide collection to support charity work and diocesan bishop of the Church announces the collection to support the Diocesan Caritas Ostrava-Opava (Whit collection).
  • Spiritual help
    In addition to material and financial assistance is also important for us, your spiritual support. In this respect they are particularly suitable two seasons. Every year there is a pilgrimage Charities in the Diocese of Ostrava-Opava, and in September we commemorate St. Vincent de Paul, patron of the charity. Thank you for your prayers.
